Requirements on getting married in Lombok Island.
Original birth certificates
Passports
Decree Absolute (divorce papers) if applicable.
Officially witnessed consent of your father if you are under the age of 21.
Death certificate of deceased former spouse.
Present yourselves together at the Registry office when applying for the license which can be obtained within one working day. Registry offices are in Mataram. Only take approximately 25 minutes from the main resorts of Senggigi Lombok.
Registration offices are open between 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. Registration formalities take about 30 minutes.
The fee is and the license is valid for 21 days.
All ministers in Lombok Indonesia belong to a particular Islamic Justice Department where mosques, church, shrine and temple used as a marriage declaration place for all, so there are no non-denominational ministers.
For Catholic weddings, the requirements include a Letter of Freedom sent well in advance, approximately 2-3 months to the Lombok's Priest, along with a Baptism certificate. Your normal pre-wedding studies must be completed with a letter from your priest.
